Maruška and Daniel have been involved in youth ministry and both have over 10 years experience leading youth groups, organizing camps, and working as volunteers in the church. Maruška studied literature and art and Daniel land-surveying, but they have both been called to full-time ministry. In 2008, Maruška became a full-time staff member, she got married to Daniel in 2014 and in 2015 Daniel joined the Kompas team as well. They serve together in Training Centre Kompas (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Slovakia) organizing the annual conference and School of Leaders. Their biggest passion is discipleship of girls, boys and dating couples, and they serve heavily in their local Lutheran Church in Bardejov. Maruška is also a published author and Daniel serves as an actor and in post-production. They hope they can bring hope to young people through their marriage and young family as well.
