Daniel accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior when he was 16 years old. A year later, he began serving on the youth team and was later called to become a youth leader as well as the mission outreach coordinator for the KECY English camps in his home congregation, ECAV Prešov. In 2013, he handed over the youth leadership role to the next generation. After moving, he also led the youth in ECAV Obišovce, a role he likewise transitioned to younger leaders in 2020. Daniel currently serves with the Training Center Kompas (TCK) as the coordinator for the KECY project.

Four years after Denisa dedicated her life to Christ, she began leading a small group that included her younger sister and her classmates. At the age of 18, she helped launch the youth ministry program in her home congregation in Obišovce. Her service was significantly supported by the School for Youth Workers (ŠPM), a project of the Training Center Kompas, for which she became the Director in 2013. She is currently on maternity leave, enjoying her two daughters, Luna and Mila.

Daniel and Denisa met at a youth group camp organized by ECAV Prešov. They were married in September 2012, and their shared desire is to make disciples who make disciples. They currently live and serve in Drienovská Nová Ves, Slovakia.
