Vanesa comes from a traditional Christian family, but she first heard about the personal dimension of a relationship with God in 2016 at English camp in Slovakia. She discovered that Jesus was not only here 2,000 years ago, but that He still loves her today and even wants to have a relationship with her. She gradually got to know the Lord God from new perspectives and began to serve Him in the local church in Prešov, which she perceived as her home and a place where she wanted to bring the good news, since she could hear it there too.

The year 2025 was a year of change for her. She was finishing college, and during that time she prayed and asked God where He wanted her to be. He reminded her how broken-hearted she was for the younger generation who did not know God and lived "empty" lives. After leading the English camp in her city, she calmly and humbly became part of the English camp team of Slovakia.

Daniel and Vanesa got married in October 2025. In addition to studying at university, Daniel serves alongside Vanesa at local church in Prešov as a youth leader. Both are involved in many church activities and are looking for ways to point people to Christ even more through their marriage.
