Darina Malá

Darina is passionate about music, about helping other Christians grow deeper in their relationship with God, and about reaching out to young people. She has been involved in youth ministry since high school, but it became more intentional after a one-year stay at Danish Pentecostal Bible College in 2006. She became more bold and active in music and started to perform in public during church services and at concerts. She got involved as a worship leader in her local church and became a regular team member of people organizing outreach English camps via TCKompas (Josiah Venture’s partner organization in Slovakia). After finishing her Masters she started to work as a teacher of History and Social Studies. During that time she participated in one of TCK’s programs called the School of Leaders, where she became more familiar with the organization and its staff members.

In 2010 she was introduced to the Fusion ministry (which reaches out to unchurched youth through a network of evangelistic rock/gospel choirs and performing arts groups).  Later, TCKompas invited her to join in and to help launch this program in Slovakia.  Believing that this is where God wanted her to be, she quit her job and stepped into full-time ministry. Darina is now a TCK staff member, currently living in Bratislava and serving as a ministry model maker in her church focusing on Fusion, worship, and mentoring younger youth.
