Masterpiece - KPM 2018

23. Apr | Daniel Skonc

It might have been the hottest spring days ever when we met in Žilina with another 600 brothers and sisters from all around Slovakia and we dove into the main theme of Masterpiece. We are in His hands, He created us in our mother’s womb, He formed us through every circumstance and situation in our life, and He gifted us with spiritual gifts according to His will.
Our visual was LEGOs and huge colorful LEGO pieces were part of the stage as evidence of the creativity of our God who made us all part of His big Masterpiece.

Dave Patty opened our conference with God’s Word, and we also heard a young preacher from the Evangelical Free Church, Marek Tomašovič, as well as a Lutheran minister Lenka Janotková. We also used a new style of teaching called Pecha Kucha, which is a Japanese style of presentation in architecture that lasts 6 minutes and 40 seconds. We were amazed how much we could learn and be inspired during such a short time.
We also had amazing musicians, creative dramas, and a beautiful stage that all pointed to our beautiful Creator.

He created us. He formed us. He gifted us.

Let us not forget we all are His masterpiece.

This was our 26th year of doing this annual KPM conference and we cannot wait for another 26. Would you pray for these 600 youth leaders and for the multiplication of what they learned, as they take it all back to their churches and youth groups?

Feedback from participants:
“KPM reminded me of the fact that we all are one body. We serve for building His Kingdom. Everyone is important. We are His workmanship. Eph 2, 10”

“I learned about my value and the fact that God loves me always. He needs me just the way I am.”

“I learned to: forgive, give more, the importance of community and the fact that ministry is not my but God’s thing.”

“I got encouraged into a ministry I had stopped thinking about earlier. KPM reminded me that it is not always about skills.”

“KPM taught me to explore my shadows, to target my ministry - where I want to be in 5 years. Also, it taught me more to sit near Jesus. It gave me the determination to start discipleship.”
